Shift Type: Shift 1, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute meal break); exact work days to be confirmed

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Help residents improve daily living skills and regain independence
  • Document patient progress and adjust activities to meet therapeutic goals
  • Collaborate with the rehab team to ensure the highest quality of care
  • Educate patients and families on techniques to promote functional independence
  • Bring energy and compassion to every session, making a real difference in patients' lives

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
  • Massachusetts licensure as a COTA or eligibility to obtain before start
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care is a plus
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of occupational therapy interventions and rehabilitation techniques
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt to patient needs
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
  • Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
