Roles & Responsibilities

Perform radiographic exams accurately and compassionately to support diagnosis and patient care
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication
Operate digital imaging equipment and maintain image quality while minimizing repeat exposures
Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain proper documentation of exams
Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and clinical staff to deliver timely imaging results
Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance needs or quality concerns
Participate in orientation and training to stay current with facility processes and technologies

Qualifications

ARRT certification in Radiography or registry-eligible (or equivalent credential)
State radiologic technologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Missouri
Comfortable working with pediatric and adult patients with professionalism and empathy
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or required per facility policy

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related imaging program
Completion of an accredited radiography program and registry eligibility

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with radiographic positioning and exposure techniques
Familiarity with PACS and digital imaging workflows
Understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control
Ability to perform consistently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Attention to detail for image quality, patient identification, and documentation
