Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with attention to safety and image quality
Position patients accurately and compassionately to obtain diagnostic images
Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, following radiation safety (ALARA) protocols
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to deliver timely imaging results
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and imaging records in PACS/EHR
Identify and report equipment issues; help maintain a clean, safe imaging environment
Provide patient education and reassurance before, during, and after imaging exams

Qualifications

Active ARRT certification or equivalent (preferred) — or willingness to obtain
Eligibility for or possession of a Missouri Radiologic Technologist license (facility in MO, 63110)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Clinical experience as a radiologic technologist is a plus; comfortable with routine radiographic exams
Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent program completion

Knowledge & Skills

Radiographic positioning and imaging techniques with an eye for image quality
Radiation safety principles (ALARA) and safe operation of X-ray equipment
Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record systems
Strong patient handling, assessment, and communication skills
Attention to detail for accurate documentation and timely workflow
