Location: St. Louis, MO
Start Date: 04-20-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 4-hour shift (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed), orientation required
Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate radiology equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Position patients carefully and compassionately to ensure comfort and accuracy
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe imaging environment
- Review images for technical quality and communicate issues to the radiologist
- Document procedures accurately in the patient record and maintain HIPAA standards
- Participate in orientation activities and support onboarding of new team members
Qualifications
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) credential required (ARRT preferred)
- State of Missouri licensure or eligibility to obtain state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working with pediatric and adult patients with a caring attitude
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a clinical team
- Previous imaging experience preferred but new grads with solid training are welcome
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; ARRT registry preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with digital radiography equipment and imaging workflows
- Familiarity with PACS and basic image management
- Understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control
- Competent documentation in electronic health records
- Good patient positioning and anatomy knowledge for diagnostic imaging
