Location: Sacramento, CA

Start Date: 04-24-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-Time, 4-hour shifts (exact days and start/end times to be determined). Orientation required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered physical therapy care to promote mobility and function
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Document patient progress clearly and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab staff to optimize outcomes
Educate patients and families on exercises and home programs to support recovery
Participate in orientation and team training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist or eligible for licensure in California
Clinical experience in outpatient, pediatric, or orthopedic settings is a plus
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willingness to obtain
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work part-time shifts and attend orientation as required

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field may be considered

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
Ability to perform patient assessments and use outcome measures
Proficiency with clinical documentation and electronic medical records
Strong patient education and motivational skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinic
