Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Part-time, 4-hour shifts (specific start/end times and days not specified). Orientation required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients to create individualized treatment plans that restore function and mobility
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and track progress
Document patient care and outcomes accurately and timely
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab staff to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention
Participate in orientation and any required facility trainings
Ensure a safe, compassionate environment that supports patient dignity

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist in California (or eligible to obtain licensure)
Active CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Previous outpatient or pediatric experience a plus (if applicable)

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Master’s or Bachelor’s in related field with appropriate licensure acceptable

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of therapeutic exercise and modalities
Ability to create and modify patient-centered treatment plans
Skilled in patient education and family engagement
Proficient documentation and clinical outcome tracking
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
