Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Rotating per diem shifts, 6 hours per shift (days and times vary)
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients across the hospital
- Assess patient respiratory status and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care strategies
- Respond quickly and effectively to respiratory emergencies and code situations
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the EHR
Qualifications
- Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Oregon
- Current BLS certification (required); ACLS and PALS preferred
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Previous experience in pediatrics or acute care is a plus
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy modalities, including mechanical ventilation and oxygen delivery systems
- Skilled in patient assessment and monitoring of respiratory status
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, families, and colleagues
