Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes for your young patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that truly make a difference.
• Keep meticulous and accurate medical records, documenting patients' conditions, treatments, and progress, and promptly report any changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision, always following hospital policies and protocols.
• Empower patients and their families with education on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term wellness.
• Offer emotional support and advocate for patients' rights, ensuring every child and family receives compassionate, respectful care.
• Champion a safe, ethical environment by adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Stay on the cutting edge of pediatric nursing through continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing
• At least some nursing experience - new grads are not being considered at this time
• A commitment to maintaining confidential information
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
• Currently in the process of relocating to New Hampshire (serious inquiries only)
