Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and craft personalized treatment plans to boost independence
• Deliver therapeutic interventions that help patients achieve functional goals
• Develop and update discharge plans for smooth transitions to home or next level of care
• Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active Wyoming state OT license or ability to obtain one
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• Compassionate and collaborative approach to patient care

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Occupational therapy assessment and treatment planning
• Patient evaluation and functional independence training
• Discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Accurate and timely documentation
• Supervision of COTAs and delegation
• Effective communication with care teams, patients, and families
