Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding preventive dental hygiene care to every patient
• Perform thorough cleanings and periodontal therapy with precision
• Build trust and educate patients on maintaining a healthy, bright smile
• Collaborate closely with the dentist and dental assistant to ensure efficient visits
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
• Focus on patient comfort and communication throughout each appointment

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for patient education and preventive care
• Ability to work efficiently with the support of a dental assistant

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Skill in building rapport with patients of all ages
• Ability to manage a smooth schedule and stay on time
• Proficient in dental charting and patient records
• Team-focused mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
