Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready for procedures
• Assist the orthodontist during patient exams, adjustments, and appliance placements
• Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring patient safety with lead aprons
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care for braces or aligners
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent is preferred
• Current X-ray certification and familiarity with dental radiography
• Prior experience in orthodontics is a plus, but we welcome passionate new grads
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a gentle, caring demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental software, such as Denticon, a plus
• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and sterilization protocols
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
