Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and overall dental health
• Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Take and process dental radiographs as needed
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygiene license in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Knowledge of infection control standards and best practices
• Skilled in patient education and oral health counseling
• Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR) and digital radiography
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
