Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with exams, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare and organize treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
• Sterilize and maintain dental equipment according to safety standards
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions accurately
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care during orthodontic treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Support lab duties and manage orthodontic inventory

Qualifications

• Valid Orthodontic Assistant certification
• Prior experience in orthodontic assisting
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Proficiency with dental software such as Denticon
• Understanding of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Patient-focused approach with a caring attitude
