Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional dental hygiene services, including scaling, polishing, and preventive care
• Educate patients on oral health and hygiene best practices
• Work efficiently in 30-minute appointment slots to keep the practice running smoothly
• Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant to streamline patient care
• Maintain a clean and organized operatory for a safe patient experience
• Assist with patient flow and comfort during visits

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dental practice
• CPR certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and sterilization protocols
• Skill in patient education and preventive care
• Comfort using dental software and charting tools
• Attention to detail and excellent time management
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
