Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to keep patients' smiles healthy
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Document patient medical histories and treatment plans accurately
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Sterilize instruments and keep operatory rooms immaculate and compliant with safety standards

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license (or ability to obtain one quickly)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (required)
• Experience with dental charting software and digital x-rays is a plus
• Excellent patient communication and chairside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and best practices
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards in dental settings
• Proficiency with dental radiography and imaging technology
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and collaborate with the care team
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and patient needs
