Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including scaling and polishing teeth
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Collaborate with dentists to ensure comprehensive patient treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Utilize the support of a dental assistant to focus on delivering high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygiene license
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced dental practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and procedures
• Strong understanding of oral health and disease prevention
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Effective patient education skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
