Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patient treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments are sterilized and ready
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, providing hands-on support and patient comfort
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care post-treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified (required)
• Experience in orthodontic assisting preferred
• Knowledge of dental software and digital imaging
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in orthodontic procedures and equipment
• Understanding of sterilization protocols
• X-ray certification (if applicable)
• Strong patient care skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
