Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding preventive dental care to a diverse patient population
• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy with precision and care
• Take and interpret dental radiographs to support accurate diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or similar)
• Previous dental hygiene experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome
• Ability to work the assigned 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM shift
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral pathology, and periodontal disease
• Proficiency with dental software and digital radiography
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Commitment to infection control and sterilization protocols
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
