Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during examinations and procedures to ensure smooth workflow
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide comfort throughout their visit
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments, following strict infection control standards
• Take and process dental X-rays to aid in accurate diagnostics
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment scheduling

Qualifications

• Current Orthodontic Certification is required
• Previous dental assistant experience, preferably in an orthodontic setting
• CPR/BLS certification is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic procedures, tools, and terminology
• Familiarity with dental software such as Denticon
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control protocols
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
