Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care to promote healthy smiles.
• Maintain patient records and update charts with treatment details and notes.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Dental Assistant certification or license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus, but we welcome skilled professionals ready to grow.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and orthodontic practices.
• Proficiency with dental software and patient management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
