Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans that make a real difference in patients' lives
• Document all services in full compliance with regulations and facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to optimize outcomes
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Maryland state SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills

Education

• Master's degree (MS/MA) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Patient evaluation and swallowing therapy expertise
• Treatment planning and clinical documentation
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for speech therapy
