Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Take dental X-rays and impressions, and create study models for treatment planning
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, making their experience comfortable
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments, supporting a welcoming office
- Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and placing orders as needed
- Work closely with the clinical team to deliver outstanding, personalized orthodontic care
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience as a dental assistant in orthodontics strongly preferred
- X-ray certification and familiarity with intraoral scanning technology
- Strong communication skills and a genuinely caring bedside manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
- Competency in taking digital X-rays and 3D scans
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Denticon)
- Understanding of orthodontic procedures and patient flow
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
