Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and scaling to keep patients' smiles bright and healthy
• Take and process dental x-rays with care and precision
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Document patient care and update dental records accurately
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments, following strict infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Pediatric experience preferred, but passionate and skilled hygienists are welcome to apply
• Strong communication skills and a friendly chairside manner
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and patient care best practices
• Proficiency in digital radiography and dental charting software
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with patients and families
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
