Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dental hygienist during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and post-treatment care guidance
• Document patient care and treatment plan details accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment

Qualifications

• Current dental assistant certification (if required by state)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working in a dental office or clinical setting
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software and X-ray equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused attitude
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
