Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care including dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures and provide chairside support
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment following infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New York State
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing quality patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental radiography and diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of periodontal therapy and oral health assessment
• Experience with dental charting software
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a dental team
