Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to keep patients smiling bright
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience
• Document patient care and update dental charts accurately
• Sterilize and prepare instruments to maintain a safe, spotless environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with dental software and radiography is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and periodontal health
• Skilled in dental radiography and imaging techniques
• Proficient with dental practice management software
• Ability to put anxious patients at ease
• Keen attention to detail and infection control standards
