Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to keep patients' smiles healthy
• Capture and develop digital x-rays to aid in accurate diagnosis
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants for preventive care
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques and product recommendations
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain meticulous patient records and uphold strict infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New York State
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in a dental practice or clinical setting
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene tools and scaling techniques
• Knowledge of dental radiography safety and digital imaging
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
• A team player mindset with a focus on patient comfort
