Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during braces adjustments, retainers, and other procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure they feel comfortable and informed
• Take and process dental x-rays with precision and care
• Sterilize and organize instruments to keep everything spotless
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to promote lasting results

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification
• X-ray certification (required)
• Experience in orthodontics is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate
• A caring, patient-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and keep a smile in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control
• Familiarity with dental software like Denticon (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Great interpersonal skills to connect with patients of all ages
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing needs
