Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients, creating personalized plans to help them regain independence in daily living activities
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans that adapt to each patient's progress
• Document every service accurately and timely, ensuring seamless continuity of care
• Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to deliver high-quality therapy
• Collaborate with families, nurses, and care teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards, making patient well-being your top priority

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)
• Active California OT license (or ability to obtain before starting)
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• A genuine passion for helping patients improve their quality of life

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Skilled in discharge planning and documentation
• Experience supervising COTAs
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards
