Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide friendly clinical support by greeting patients and answering inquiries with care
• Schedule appointments and coordinate providers and staff to keep the clinic running smoothly
• Perform clerical duties and use computer applications for day-to-day patient flow
• Assist with occupational medicine services and OSHA-required medical surveillance
• Support specimen collection and testing processes when certified, following protocols
• Collaborate with employers and team members to manage work-related injury workflows

Qualifications

• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant, OR current unencumbered Oregon EMT or Paramedic licensure
• Valid driver's license and personal auto liability/property damage insurance required
• Experience or training with MS Office
• DOT Collector and Breath Alcohol Technician certifications preferred
• Preferred certifications: urine drug screening, spirometry, audiometry
• Medical office, medical assistant, and/or billing experience preferred

Education

• BLS certification required
• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant OR Oregon EMT or Paramedic licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical support and basic patient care skills
• Clerical support and medical office workflow
• Patient scheduling and greeting with strong customer service
• Familiarity with computer applications and MS Office
• Understanding of medical terminology and occupational medicine processes
• Coordination of providers and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations
