Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Physicians 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Midwives 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive labor and delivery coverage including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBACs
Manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies with skill and compassion
Perform gynecologic procedures such as tubal ligations and laparoscopic diagnostics
Collaborate with midwives and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
Respond to ER coverage needs for unassigned gynecologic patients
Utilize Epic EMR to document all clinical encounters accurately

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one
Experience with labor and delivery procedures including complicated deliveries and repairs

Knowledge & Skills

Strong background in Labor and Delivery and OB/GYN procedures
Comfortable managing both routine and complex deliveries
Proficient with Epic EMR documentation
Excellent decision-making skills for C-section determinations
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced L&D environment
