Shift Type: Flexible day/rotating options. Part-time or full-time (2-5 days/week) with 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour day shifts; Week on/week off option: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Saturday, 4 hours (time varies); Alternative: twelve 10-hour days per 28-day block. All day shifts (flexible scheduling).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient neurology care, managing a broad range of neurological conditions
• Perform and interpret EEGs in the outpatient setting and EMGs for inpatient needs
• Provide inpatient neurology consultations when needed and collaborate with hospital teams
• Share call coverage in a 1:3 outpatient model with APPs as first call
• Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers, residents, and fellows
• Participate in stroke care protocols and quality initiatives aligned with accredited programs
• Contribute to clinical education, weekly CME, and grand rounds to support continuous learning
• Document care thoroughly and collaborate with multidisciplinary specialties for comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Neurology residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology (fellowship-trained candidates welcome)
• Eligibility for or possession of an active Ohio medical license
• Experience with EEG and EMG interpretation and outpatient neurology practice
• Comfort supervising APPs and participating in clinical teaching
• Ability to work the described flexible schedules and participate in outpatient call (1:3)
• US work authorization required — not accepting visa candidates; not accepting locums
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care

Education

• MD or DO
• Completion of Neurology residency
• Fellowship training in subspecialty (optional but welcomed)
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical neurology fundamentals and outpatient neurology workflows
• Electrophysiology skills: EEG and EMG performance and interpretation
• Stroke recognition and acute stroke pathway familiarity
• Experience with inpatient consultations and continuity of outpatient care
• Teaching and clinical education skills for trainees and APPs
• Team-based collaboration with hospitalists, intensivists, and specialty services
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation
