Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams (contrast and non-contrast) accurately and efficiently to support patient diagnosis
• Operate and troubleshoot GE MRI equipment while following safety protocols
• Coordinate with radiology team and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Provide compassionate patient care and education before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain proper documentation in Cerner and ensure image quality meets departmental standards
• Adhere to unit guidelines, dress code (black scrubs), and professional standards at all times

Qualifications

• MRI registration and MRI certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (as listed in the posting)
• Experience with MRI contrast and non-contrast studies
• Comfortable working rotating weekends and within a travel assignment schedule
• Multi-modality familiarity and exposure to GE imaging systems
• Breast MRI experience is preferred and will be considered a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of MRI procedures, safety and patient positioning
• Experience using Cerner (EMR) for documentation and workflow
• Familiarity with GE MRI hardware and common troubleshooting steps
• Ability to perform both contrast and non-contrast MRI protocols
• Good communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Attention to detail for image quality and accurate record-keeping
