Shift Type: 36 hours per week, every other weekend (EOW), shift times may vary

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately

Qualifications

Active RN license in Connecticut or compact state
BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent med/surg or telemetry experience preferred
Ability to work every other weekend and float as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with electronic health records
Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments
