Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 4-hour shift (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed); Orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and take vital signs to ensure safe clinical care
Prepare exam rooms and/or assist clinicians during patient exams
Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
Support patient flow by rooming patients and coordinating appointments
Assist with basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection or simple procedures as directed
Participate in orientation, training, and team meetings to maintain high-quality care

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
Ability to stand for clinical shifts and perform routine clinical tasks

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Taking vitals and basic clinical assessments
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or willingness to learn
Comfortable with patient interaction and working in a fast-paced clinic
Basic infection control and clinical safety practices
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
