Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered clinical support during visits
Take and record vital signs, perform routine clinical tasks, and prepare patients
Assist providers with examinations and basic procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and document care in the EHR
Help ensure clinic flow runs smoothly by coordinating with team members
Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
Comfortable performing clinical tasks such as vitals, injections, and specimen collection
Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused attitude
Must be able to complete required orientation (orientation is provided)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with basic clinical skills: taking vitals, phlebotomy basics, and specimen handling
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced outpatient setting
