Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out with professionalism
Measure and record vitals, obtain basic medical histories, and ensure accurate documentation
Prepare exam rooms and assist clinicians during patient examinations and minor procedures
Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing following protocols
Maintain and update patient charts in the electronic medical record to keep care coordinated
Coordinate patient flow and scheduling to help the clinic run smoothly
Communicate clearly with patients and families to provide a compassionate experience

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or similar certification preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
Previous outpatient clinic experience is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with basic clinical procedures and taking vital signs
Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting accurately
Good communication skills for interacting with patients and the care team
Ability to multitask and manage clinic flow in a fast-paced environment
Basic phlebotomy or specimen collection skills preferred
