Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Per diem NOC shifts (typically 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), flexible scheduling as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop patient care plans
Float to various units as needed (must float - no exceptions)
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience preferred
Must be willing to float to different units
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Knowledge of Med Surg patient care protocols
Skilled in IV therapy and medication administration
Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments
Basic Pharmacology and Rhythm Interpretation screening required
