Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Assess patient conditions and report changes to the care team promptly
- Document care thoroughly and maintain clear, professional records
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and facility staff to deliver coordinated care
- Support resident dignity and comfort through attentive, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania or ability to obtain one
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus
- Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN / practical nursing program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with infection control and patient safety protocols
- Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong resident advocacy
