Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to residents as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the care team
- Document assessments and care activities clearly and timely
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to deliver great care
- Support a positive resident experience through respectful communication
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to pass facility-required background and health screenings
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN/LVN diploma)
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational nursing knowledge and practical assessment skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and infection control principles
- Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
- Comfortable working with interdisciplinary care teams
- Compassionate resident-centered care and strong customer service
