Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with daily living activities and support patient independence.
• Document patient care thoroughly and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Qualifications

• Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption required
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Compassion and a genuine desire to make a difference

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing care principles and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and excellent critical thinking
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
