Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy interventions following the PT plan of care to help patients regain mobility and function
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately to support effective care
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs to encourage independence
• Communicate patient status clearly to the supervising PT to ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards to provide a secure environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license in Texas (or ability to obtain before start)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Patient-centered care and patient education
• Understanding of safety, infection control, and compliance standards
• Team collaboration and interdisciplinary communication
