Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care by performing dental cleanings and scaling
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to promote long-term health
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and safety
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring smooth workflow
• Document patient treatments and care plans accurately in the system
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and health history reviews before procedures

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (required)
• Current CPR certification
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Previous clinical experience in a dental setting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental cleaning procedures and use of hygiene instruments
• Knowledge of dental x-ray techniques and radiation safety protocols
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Strong understanding of oral health, preventive care, and patient education
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments
