Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during exams, procedures, and appliance adjustments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, ensuring a safe and clean environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on orthodontic hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans using Denticon software
• Provide a welcoming and reassuring presence for patients of all ages

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified
• Valid Orthodontic Dental Assistant certification
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Strong dedication to patient comfort and quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and materials
• Proficiency with dental practice management software like Denticon
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
