Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision and compassion, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies
• Manage daily sonography room operations, patient scheduling, and workflow to ensure a smooth patient experience
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly report any issues, and participate in quality assessment processes
• Provide exceptional patient care by upholding high standards of medical ethics, empathy, and professionalism
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and adapt to evolving procedures to deliver the best diagnostic outcomes
• Support breast ultrasound and adult echocardiography exams when needed, using your advanced skills to enhance care

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program
• Active ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular sonography
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on ultrasound experience
• Breast ultrasound and Adult Echocardiography certifications are a plus
• Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements

Education

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound techniques
• Skilled in diagnostic imaging and patient care best practices
• Familiarity with Point Click EMR for accurate documentation
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, quality assurance, and safety protocols
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
