Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
  • Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and responses to care
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and nurse aides to implement personalized care plans
  • Communicate with residents and families to offer comfort, education, and support
  • Supervise and support certified nursing assistants in daily tasks
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition promptly
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and infection-controlled environment

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted LPN license in New Mexico or compact state eligible
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics experience preferred
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved medical/religious exemption
  • Ability to pass a background check and provide valid government-issued ID
  • Compassionate, dependable, and quick on your feet

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and charting systems
  • Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Time management and critical thinking skills
