Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify their mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and their families on conditions and care instructions
• Use clinical judgment to monitor, recognize, and report changes in patient condition
• Contribute to a healthy work environment through professional communication and conflict management
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities while delivering high-quality patient care
• Keep accurate, complete medical records
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Current ACLS certification
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in PCU or similar acute care setting
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays
• Experience with Point Click EMR is a plus
