Roles & Responsibilities

• Take and monitor vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse oximetry, to keep patients safe and comfortable
• Assist with nitrous oxide and IV sedation to ensure calm, smooth procedures
• Capture high-quality panoramic X-rays for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Support the surgical team during wisdom tooth extractions with precision and care
• Provide clear, compassionate post-operative instructions to help patients recover with confidence
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Experience taking vital signs and monitoring patients
• Proficiency with nitrous oxide, IV sedation, and panoramic X-rays
• Background in oral surgery or chairside assisting is a plus
• Strong communication skills for guiding patients through post-op care
• Commitment to safety, sterile technique, and patient comfort

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and surgical instruments
• Skill in taking vital signs such as BP and PulseO2 Sats
• Comfort with nitrous oxide and IV sedation protocols
• Familiarity with panoramic X-ray equipment
• Excellent patient communication and empathy
• Attention to detail and commitment to infection control
