Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to walk-in clinic patients within the scope of LPN licensure, following established standards and practices.
Perform vital signs, initial patient assessments and triage patient calls to ensure timely, appropriate care.
Manage prescription refills and complete prior authorizations to keep patients' treatments on track.
Serve as the primary patient liaison—communicate clearly and courteously with patients, families and the care team.
Collaborate with providers, coordinators, clinical managers and RNs to coordinate patient care and follow-through.
Direct and oversee CNAs and schedulers as needed, ensuring smooth clinic operations and patient flow.
Support teammates and step in to assist wherever needed to maintain high-quality, efficient care.

Qualifications

Current State LPN license (active and in good standing)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Comfortable performing vital signs, triage, medication refill processing and prior authorizations
Able to give direction to CNAs and schedulers and take direction from providers, coordinators, clinical managers and RNs
Willingness to work a full-time Monday–Friday clinic schedule

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

Vital signs measurement and interpretation
Triage and basic clinical assessment
Medication refill workflows and prior authorization processes
Strong patient communication and liaison skills
Interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration
Delegation and supervision of support staff
Basic Life Support (BLS) procedures
