Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families on health and wellness

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Must comply with facility COVID-19 vaccination requirements or have an approved exemption
• Must bring valid state or federal identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

• Medication administration and dosage calculations
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Effective communication and teamwork
• Empathy and patience in caring for residents
